Only the recognized text, up to 8,000 characters. No images, file names or window titles.

Capturing, marking up, pinning and text recognition all happen on your computer. Only when you press an AI button (fix, translate, explain, summarize, ask) is the recognized text sent to OldSnap's server.
- Sent: the recognized text (up to 8,000 characters), plus your question if you ask one
- Not sent: images, file names, window titles
- The server checks your account and credits and logs usage for billing
