Why can't OldSnap recognize Chinese text?
OldSnap uses Windows' built-in text recognition, so the matching language pack must be installed.

OldSnap recognizes text with the offline engine built into Windows. Which languages it can read depends on the language packs on your system. Chinese editions of Windows usually include Chinese and English. On an English edition, install the Chinese language pack first.
Add Chinese in Windows
- Open Settings → Time & language → Language & region
- Click "Add a language" and search for "Chinese (Simplified, China)" or the language you need
- Tick "Basic typing" and "Optical character recognition", then install
- Restart OldSnap when it's done
