Graphic Designer (Part-time)
Oldlee is an independent software brand with a studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We make software for screenshots, conversations, teamwork, video and travel planning. We're looking for a part-time graphic designer to work on app icons, website and article images, social media graphics and promotional materials. It's fully remote, so you can be anywhere. The team is small, and you'll work directly with me.
What you'll do
- Design app icons, website hero images, feature illustrations and share cards.
- Make images for blog posts, release notes, social media and simple promos.
- Put together brand guidelines (type, colour, graphic rules) so our apps feel like one family.
- Design posters, event materials or print pieces when needed.
- Hand over ready-to-use source files and exports at the sizes the website needs.
What we're looking for
- A portfolio you can share, with branding, layout or illustration work.
- Comfortable with at least one of Figma, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
- You care about typography and white space, and can explain your choices.
- You can communicate clearly in Chinese or English.
- You deliver on agreed dates, and speak up early when something won't make it.
Nice to have
- Visual work for software or internet products.
- Simple motion graphics or short video.
- Multilingual layouts, such as mixed Chinese and English.
Pay and how we work
- Part-time and fully remote, open to any country or region.
- Pay is discussed with you, based on experience and workload.
- Flexible hours. We mostly talk in writing online, with video calls when needed.
- We're a very small studio. There's no big-company process or benefits package, but your work will show up on the website and in the apps quickly.
